Huashuo is an early-season apple cultivar selected by Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute. It is derived from the cross between cultivar NY543 and Huaguan. Its fruits are nearly roundness, having a vermeil skin, weighing 232 g on average, containing a soluble solids content of 12.8% with a pleasant flavor, of very good eating quality. It matures in the beginning of August earlier 7 to 10 days than Gala. The fruit could be stored for 20 days under room temperature and 2 months under cold condition .
